Hello everyone! I doubt anyone really checks this place anymore but I've been getting DMCA complaints on the old chapter uploads and I figure it's been long enough that they can just be unpublished. If the complaints are any indication it means there's official English translations coming for these projects (long overdue in my opinion). I've been out of the scanlation game for a long time and am busy these days with plenty of other non-Nuwang projects.
Would I ever pick it up again? Hard to say. There's definitely still untranslated manga I'm interested in that I feel are unlikely to ever get picked up in the West. I have a list of 18 titles that I was interested in tackling, mostly a mix of sci-fi/slice-of-life/fantasy stories, and in the 4-5 years since I made it only 5 of them seem to have been picked up by a scanlation group, with the rest completely untranslated (including one that was originally published in 1993!). So if there is a future for Nuwang someday, it'll probably be with one of these lesser-known titles and distributed on a different platform (no idea where though).
Thanks to anyone who read my work, I was glad to be able to share these stories with you. Maybe I will again some day.
Hello Nuwang, I just finished reading we did it that was translated by you. I wanna thank you for your hard work, and attention to details. I also wanna add that what you used to express on the first page gave the chapters this sense of familiarity I also got an idea of how it felt to read it in 2017 which made the read 10 times better.
